Your Luxury 4-star self-catering lodges are the perfect base for a highland whisky adventure.

Each lodge is fully serviced with communal lounge areas, kitchen and hot tub.

Check-in is available on the Sunday before the academy starts, letting you settle in and acquaint yourself with likeminded academy attendees over a dram.

Clovenstone Lodges are located just 5 minutes from the hub of your daily activity, the Inverurie Whisky Shop. Just 15 minutes from Aberdeen Airport and 5 minutes from Inverurie Train Station the accommodation is ideally located as your base for exploring the area whilst being set within secluded private woodland and rolling countryside.

Executive travel will be provided from the lodge every morning with your expert tour guide dropping you back off to the lodges later in the day after every experience.

Powered through thermal, solar energy and with access to fresh spring water your lodge is equipped with everything you may ever need whilst being kind to your surroundings.

Enjoy complimentary Wi-fi and a Bluetooth sound system where quality resonates throughout each lodge. The furnishings and tasteful decoration are complimented by artwork supplied by two of our most inspirational and famous Scottish artists, Helen Clark and Steven Brown, inspiring conversation and creativity.

Your luxury property will be shared amongst fellow Academy students but with the privacy of your own room with en-suite bath or shower room. Each room has its own essential facilities and products, such as fresh bedding and towels.

Treating you to the best in local country fayre.

Catering is included on our daily excursions as part of your academy experience. Breakfast rolls plus fresh tea and coffee will be served every morning and a delicious lunch provided at a variety of hidden gems along the Malt Whisky Trail.

We are always happy to cater for guests with any special needs or dietary requirements, so please let us know in advance. Our lodges themselves are self-catering, allowing you to cook dinner in the high-spec kitchen, BBQ in the grounds or explore the great local bars and restaurants on your doorstep.

Glen Garioch Distillery

Established in 1797, Glen Garioch (pronounced 'Geery') is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland - and its most Easterly. Situated in the historic market town of Oldmeldrum, Glen Garioch is a rare find indeed.

GLENDRONACH DISTILLERY

GlenDronach Distillery

Founded in 1826, GlenDronach has been creating the finest sherried single malts for nearly 200 years. Located in Forgue by Huntly, its reputation has travelled worldwide - to those in the know, it's a well kept secret.

GlenAllachie Distillery

GlenAllachie Distillery sits in the heart of Speyside, nestled into slopes of the Ben Rinnes mountain. Winning multiple awards in its first few years as an independent distillery, GlenAllachie is already renowned for producing fantastic whisky.

Knockdhu Distillery

At Knockdhu Distillery the methods used to make 'anCnoc' (pronounced 'a-nock') whisky have hardly changed in over 100 years, and it's these traditional techniques that help to create it's distinctive, modern flavour.
